PERFORMANCES We are an energetic bateria ("bateria" is a percussion section of a Samba School ) of fiery percussionists playing the funkiest beats ever to come out of West Lothian. We play various Brazilian grooves from the hardcore batucada rhythms of the world famous Rio carnival to the laid back infectious grooves of northern Brazil. We guarantee to add great vibrancy to any event and are available now for bookings of any kind from club nights to carnivals and anything in-between local, national or international. WEEKLY CLASSES We
run weekly classes in Brazilian percussion,
in the West Lothian area, open to all levels
and abilities.Why not come along and try
out some of these wonderful Brazilian instruments. WORKSHOPS We also offer workshops on Brazilian Drumming which can be tailored to suit most groups needs, from a one-off 2 hour workshop or a half-day teambuilding event, to weekly ongoing courses designed to develop students technique and learning of various Brazilian rhythms. Participants will develop their listening skills and improve their ability to work together in a group within the workshops which are also great for reducing workplace stress and building a good team vibe.
